Vietnam Railways Joint Stock Company said that due to the impact of storm No. 12, which is expected to cause heavy rain in the Hue - Da Nang area, the railway industry has stopped running two pairs of trains HD1/2 and HD3/4 on the Hue - Da Nang route on October 23 and 24.

The company has notified passengers directly via SMS. In case of no need to travel, passengers can return their tickets at the railway station free of charge within 30 days.

The tourist train "Connecting Central Heritage" travels from Hue to Da Nang in about 3 hours. This is a new train that has been in operation in recent years to take tourists through Hai Van Pass - known as "The most majestic pass in the world" and the heritage land - the ancient capital of Hue.

This train is especially loved by foreign tourists because from the train, visitors can admire the majestic and beautiful natural scenery, where the North and South meet, with the Truong Son mountain range on one side and the immense ocean on the other.

Previously, according to Vietnam Airlines, storm No. 12 also affected the airline's operations.

Many flights were forced to cancel due to the direct impact of the storm, including: VN1549, VN1548 (Hanoi - Hue), VN7197 (Hanoi - Da Nang), VN7122, VN142, VN143 (Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang), VN1940, VN1941 (Da Nang - Cam Ranh); VN156 (Da Nang - Hanoi), VN101 (Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the Central Hydrometeorological Station, today, October 23, in the communes and wards of the city, there will be rain, moderate rain, and some places will have heavy rain. From tonight, October 23 to the morning of October 25, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Total rainfall in communes and wards in the plains is generally 150-300mm, in some places over 350mm, in communes in the southern mountainous region it is generally 150-350mm, in some places over 400mm. In addition, in communes and wards in the northwest mountainous region it is generally 100-200mm, in some places over 250mm.
