Kai Đinh shared that he considers the EP "Season of Hugs" as a Christmas gift to his audience for their efforts over the past year.

He calls the EP an emotional journey he “packaged” himself, where winter melodies become an excuse to bring people closer together. Kai Dinh also hopes that listeners will enjoy music and hugs this holiday season.

'The season of hugs' with Kai Dinh

On the evening of December 9, Kai Dinh released the EP "Matching Season ", consisting of five songs and a bonus track remixed with a Christmas concept. The EP carries the musical spirit that has made Kai Dinh's mark: gentle, emotional, and easily creates sympathy for those who are in love or want to love.

The EP opens with Into the Wonderland (intro). The festive atmosphere is most evident in the lead track Xmas Day, Em Dau, a collaboration with rapper Dangrangto and PiaLinh.

The song has a cheerful melody and witty lyrics revolving around the story of couples who are angry for no reason: "There's still Christmas, there's still New Year's Eve, there's still Tet... it's been days since I got angry and haven't seen any messages from you", as soon as Christmas is near, all the anger becomes small.

In the song Thich em tam diet, the combination of Juky San's clear voice and Kai Dinh's unique music makes the song turn to a softer and more soaring tone. The song explores the emotions of the first days of love, nostalgia, the feeling of a racing heart and an indescribable feeling of floating.

Meanwhile, Xmas suy (ft Sivan - Hngle) has an introspective atmosphere, suitable for those who love the quietness of winter. This is a slow point that helps the EP maintain a balance between cute energy and emotional silence.

Immediately after its release, the EP "Hug Season" received much positive feedback from young listeners. Many comments on social media expressed their delight:
