Under the scorching hot weather, the athletes tried their best to complete their competition and reach the finish line. After 02 days of intense competition, the champions of the groups at Stage 2 of VGA Junior Tour - 6th Ho Chi Minh City Open Junior Golf Championship were officially revealed.

In the U18 Men's group, Nguyen Dang Minh had a rough start to the final round. However, the "big brother" of the U18 group quickly regained his form when he scored 4 birdies, bringing him -2 points on the final day of competition. With a total result of +3 points after 03 rounds, Nguyen Dang Minh became the champion of the U18 Men's group and also the champion of the tournament.

VGA Junior Tour: Nguyen Dang Minh won the entire tournament - 1

Nguyen Dang Minh won the U18 Men's group.

Following Dang Minh closely are Nguyen Duc Son and Doan Uy, who at one point surpassed him to “fight” for the top spot. Doan Uy opened round 3 with 2 bogeys at holes 1 and 2 but recovered with 2 birdies at the next 2 holes and 2 more birdies at holes 11 and 15.

With a “better” performance than the previous day, Doan Uy reached 2nd place overall. Nguyen Duc Son scored a birdie at hole 3 at the beginning of round 3, however, having 5 bogeys and only getting 1 birdie afterwards made the 16-year-old athlete stop at 3rd place. It was quite regrettable that Duc Son could not maintain the advantage and once again missed the WAGR ranking when Dang Minh reversed the situation.

In the U18 Women's group. Le Nguyen Minh Anh (Anna Le) started the final day with 1 bogey right at the starting hole and continued to make 2 bogeys in the next 2 holes. The total score after 3 rounds was (+25), Anna Le still kept her championship position from VGA Junior Tour 1st Leg - Trang An Golf & Resort, leading the whole group. The second place was Nguyen Viet Gia Han with 26 strokes after 3 rounds. Before the tournament, Gia Han registered to play up the group to U18 Women to play 3 rounds and the second place achievement was very commendable, in the first round Gia Han was the champion of the U12 Women's group.

The U15 Men's Group recorded a +1 score from athlete Nguyen Tuan Anh on the final day of competition. The 14-year-old golfer won 2 birdies at holes 4 and 7, and made 1 bogey at hole 5. With 177 strokes after 3 rounds, the championship position of the U15 Men's Group is the result of Nguyen Tuan Anh's efforts.

Meanwhile, in the U12 group, the two champions of the Men's and Women's groups were Nguyen Bao Phat with a score of (+5) and Ha Na Vuong with the same score of (+27). Bao Phat continued to defend the championship position achieved from the first stage in Trang An while in his first participation, Ha Na Vuong made his mark with a victory in the U12 Women's group.

In the U9 group, it is noteworthy that Le Nhat Binh started round 1 with a -1 stroke advantage and continuously maintained the leading position despite being closely pursued by Pham Gia Binh. In the end, at the end of the second round of the tournament, Nhat Binh continued to rank first in the group with a score of (+6) and Pham Gia Binh once again came in second with the same score of (+11).
