Journalist Ta Dinh Nghia was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Journalists Association.

During the mid-term period of 2020 - 2025, the activities of the Soc Trang Provincial Journalists Association have had many encouraging developments. Up to now, 5/9 targets of the Provincial Journalists Association Congress Resolution for the term 2020 - 2025 have been implemented and exceeded. Over the past 3 years, the Provincial Association has received the approval results of the Vietnam Journalists Association on admitting 31 new members and issuing new membership cards for the period 2021 - 2026. Currently, the Association has a total of 169 members.

The Provincial Journalists Association has done a good job of educating and fostering political , professional ethics and professional skills for its members. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Journalists Association coordinates with a number of agencies and units to organize the Spring Press Festival, attracting a large number of cadres, civil servants, students and pupils to come and enjoy the exhibition. It has successfully organized the Soc Trang Provincial Press Awards, the Provincial Preliminary Round of the National Press Awards on Party building work.

The branches also participated well in regional and national press competitions and awards and the Project to Continue Supporting the Creation of High-Quality Press Works of the Vietnam Journalists Association. The provincial association organized many field trips to create, exchange and share professional experiences with press agencies and provincial journalist associations for its members, reporters and editors...

In this conference, the Soc Trang Provincial Journalists Association dismissed journalist Nguyen Van Bon from the positions of Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Standing Committee Member, Executive Committee Member of the Provincial Journalists Association; elected 2 additional Executive Committee members; appointed 1 Standing Committee member; elected additional leadership positions of the association: Chairman of the Association (full-time), 2 Vice Chairmen (concurrently).

Journalist Ta Dinh Nghia was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Journalists Le Hoang Bac and Nguyen Viet Dung were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the Soc Trang Provincial Journalists Association.
