The Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 pageant has just announced a special event, promising to bring an unprecedentedly brilliant fashion festival atmosphere. The "Carnival Costume Design" contest will be the highlight of the Sea Festival taking place in the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province.

The highlight of this year's competition is the Carnival Costume Parade, where the top 45 contestants of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 will dress up in gorgeous costumes and parade through the central streets of Nha Trang.
This event is expected to create a vibrant festival atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and tourists, contributing to increasing the attractiveness of the 2025 Sea Festival. The idea of the competition is inspired by the "Best Of The World" Festival that made an impression at Miss Cosmo 2024, promising to bring eye-catching and surprising performances.
Miss Ngoc Chau, National Director of Miss Cosmo Vietnam, shared that choosing Nha Trang as the venue for important competitions and accompanying the 2025 Sea Festival is an important strategy to promote Vietnam's image to the world .
At the same time, this event also contributes to honoring the beauty and tourism potential of Khanh Hoa. She believes that this year's competition will create an explosion of emotions and contribute to raising the position of Vietnamese beauty on the international map.
The design competition receives support and professional advice from prestigious designers such as designer Tin Thai and designer Khoa Lo. Businesswoman and Miss Hoang Thanh Nga will act as a judge, ensuring fairness and professionalism in the process of selecting the best works.
The deadline for submitting online entries via email [email protected] will be April 30. Then, on May 5, contestants will participate in the idea presentation round before the judges, and the top 45 most impressive designs will be announced on May 7.
The competition opens up opportunities for all those who are passionate about fashion design, including professional and amateur designers, fashion design students and individuals who have a passion for creating performance costumes.
Nha Trang summer destination this year with Miss Universe Vietnam 2025
The competition consists of three rounds: idea generation, idea presentation, and idea execution. Designers whose entries make it to the top 45 will receive a financial support of VND 5,000,000/design to realize their work under the guidance of the organizing committee and advisors.
The requirements for entries include hand-drawn or computer-generated A4 drawings, clearly showing the front, back and transformation effects (if any) of the costume. Each design must have a name and a brief introduction of the idea. The designer's personal information (full name, phone number) and a scan of the design must be sent to the email [email protected].
The prize structure of the contest is also very attractive, with the first prize worth 15,000,000 VND and the second prize of 10,000,000 VND for the best design.
In addition, there is also the Most Impressive Performance Style award worth 5,000,000 VND for the beauty pageant contestant and the Most Effective Promotional Design award worth 5,000,000 VND for the designer with the best promotional activities on social networks.
