The song "Ba ve ngu nguoi non tien" was composed by musician Hinh Phuoc Lien in 2023, then arranged by Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe for the troupe's performance program. This performance is also used in the program "Trang soi hich non tien" which takes place at the Ponagar Tower relic on the full moon night every month. Most recently, the song "Ba ve ngu nguoi non tien" is a performance in the art program "Huong tram to sac" arranged by Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe to participate in the National Song and Dance Festival - 2024 (phase 2) taking place in Binh Duong province in early October. The musical material in the song comes from the inviting singing melody in the art of singing bong roi in the Southern region, both bearing the musical influence of the ancient art of bai choi in the South Central region, and mixed with a bit of the flavor of hat chau van. The rhythm in the song is developed from hat chau van in the Central region. The song's content depicts the image of a person climbing the tower with the desire to pray for peace of mind and life: "You have returned to the fairyland/There is Doanh Chau, this Vien Kieu, that Phuong Ho, then Bong Lai/I sit here under the yellow flower tree/Listening to the Holy Mother's prayer, my heart is startled and awakened from my dream/On Cu Mountain, a dreamy moon/In the far sea, Hon Yen, the waves crash white on the rapids/I bow my head and pray to the grace above/Please be at peace on the path, remember the way, forget to come and go...".
The song “Chieu nghien thap co” or also known by another name “Len thap cau duyen” is also a composition that clearly expresses the feelings written about the theme of Thien Y Thanh Mau. In it, there are lyrics expressing the wish for a good fate: “My love is like the immense river that never changes its course/My love is forever like the sunlight in the shimmering afternoon with the ancient tower/Chieu co Po Inư Nagar, let our wish come true/Po Inư Nagar, let our fate come true…”.
In addition to the above two songs, musician Hinh Phuoc Lien also has other works on the theme of Thien Y Thanh Mau such as: "My Mother River", "Sparkling and Legendary Thap Ba", "Golden Sunlight on the Ancient Tower", "Love Words at Night Festival", music in the dance drama "The Legend of Po Inư Nagar"... Most of the works on this theme by musician Hinh Phuoc Lien have been staged by professional art troupes, or have won awards at domestic literature and art competitions. Looking back at the "fortune" of more than 300 songs brought to the public by musician Hinh Phuoc Lien, the theme of Thien Y Thanh Mau only accounts for a modest number (about 10 works). But at the present time, the theme of Thien Y Thanh Mau is receiving great attention from the musician. “I don’t know why, but in recent years, I have been very emotional when researching and writing about the topic of Thien Y Thanh Mau. Five years ago, I used some poems written about Thien Y Thanh Mau to set to music and from there came the idea of researching to write something new or do something new related to this topic that few people have been interested in for a long time,” said musician Hinh Phuoc Lien.
In the songs about Thien Y Thanh Mau by musician Hinh Phuoc Lien, all materials, melodies, and rhythms are influenced by folk and ethnic music. The musical style he uses is Vietnamese music, so these songs are suitable for the singing style of followers of the Mother Goddess religion in ritual practices, and can also be arranged and performed in a contemporary musical style to serve a wide audience. Therefore, the popularity of songs about Thien Y Thanh Mau by musician Hinh Phuoc Lien quickly spread.
