Mission A80: Nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers practice marching and marching

On August 5, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers from units of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, along with modern weapons and equipment, participated in the parade and marching mission in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (mission A80), and conducted the second comprehensive training.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, presided over the general training.

Attending were representatives of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and agencies and units of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security .

The general training session consists of two parts: performing the Party and State's rituals and ceremonies and carrying out the parade. The opening is the traditional revolutionary torch procession, followed by the flag-raising ceremony. The flag-raising ceremony ends with the general training program.

Following the People's Army and People's Police blocks were military vehicles and special police vehicles. After parading past the stage, the blocks took turns to assemble with the standing blocks.

Notably, the training session featured modern weapons and equipment systems such as tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, artillery, radars, and specialized military equipment such as electronic warfare, engineering, communications, and chemistry...

Among them are many products researched and manufactured by the Vietnamese defense industry such as the Truong Son missile complex, XCB-01 infantry fighting vehicle, unmanned aircraft, radars..., thereby demonstrating the mobility and high combat readiness of the Vietnam People's Army.

In addition, there are many types of special equipment of the People's Public Security force such as anti-terrorism combat vehicles of the Special Police, mobile combat command center vehicles, special armored bulletproof vehicles, special underwater combat vehicles of the Mobile Police force; special multi-purpose combat support vehicles; special anti-riot vehicles...

According to the Organizing Committee, learning from the experience of the training session nearly 3 weeks ago, overcoming the hot weather, the units conducted serious and strict training. The blocks walked with individual movements; the horizontal and vertical formations were relatively even, beautiful, and unified.

Praising the forces participating in the parade and marching for their efforts in the extremely hot and harsh weather, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia assessed that the second training session had made much progress compared to the first training session. The groups participating in the training session had tried very hard, had good solidarity, high unity and very strict discipline.

"We are proud to be soldiers and police officers participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. This is a very meaningful and important event that the Party, State, people and overseas Vietnamese are looking forward to, a grand and solemn celebration that demonstrates the strength of our armed forces," Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia emphasized.

With the significance and significance of the Anniversary event, over the past time, military and police agencies and units have thoroughly grasped, seriously implemented, and closely organized the centralized training of the parade and marching groups participating in the Anniversary. The units have selected additional comrades who are exemplary in political qualities, lifestyle ethics, and sense of organization and discipline; meeting the standards of height, appearance, and health to participate in the parade and marching groups.

This parade formation has 18 standing groups and 43 walking groups, including 7 female military groups (military band, medical officers, Vietnam peacekeepers, commandos, information soldiers, militia of Vietnamese ethnic groups, southern guerrillas) and 2 female police groups (traffic police officers, special police soldiers)./.
