On the occasion of Comrade Luong Cuong being elected by the 15th National Assembly to hold the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the leaders of Cambodia, Singapore, Italy, Kazakhstan, Finland and the United Russia Party sent congratulatory messages and letters.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his belief that under the leadership and vision of President Luong Cuong, Vietnam will continue to achieve socio -economic development achievements, for the benefit of the Vietnamese people and make positive contributions at international forums; he believes that the long-term relationship built on the motto of good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability will develop more strongly, for the common interests of the people of the two countries.

Chairman of the United Russia Party Dmitry Medvedev believes that President Luong Cuong's rich experience in state affairs will promote the effective resolution of Vietnam's major socio-economic development tasks, as well as consolidate Vietnam's position in the international arena; at the same time, demonstrate determination to promote all aspects of the comprehensive strategic partnership, including dialogue between the United Russia Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.

President of the Republic of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam assessed that the strategic partnership between the two countries is growing stronger in all fields, especially trade-investment, security-defense, education and human resource development.

The Singaporean President hopes to expand cooperation to new areas such as clean energy, carbon credits, digital economy and cooperation at multilateral forums, including ASEAN, to bring Vietnam-Singapore relations to new heights.

On this occasion, the President of Singapore invited President Luong Cuong to pay a state visit to Singapore at a suitable time.

President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella highly appreciated the close ties and friendship between Vietnam and Italy; expressed confidence in the development of bilateral relations as well as relations between Italy and ASEAN.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to President Luong Cuong.

President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb sent a congratulatory letter to President Luong Cuong./.
