Register for admission online
Mr. Vo Hoan Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training said that this year, all candidates, including candidates who are directly admitted, must register for admission online. Candidates must submit all admission wishes to the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training at http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn or through the National Public Service Portal. Candidates need to carefully study the admission information and admission regulations of training institutions, avoiding registering for majors and programs that do not meet the requirements. In cases where schools organize their own admission methods and require direct or online application submission at the school, candidates are still required to register their wishes on the Ministry's general system to be considered for admission together with all other candidates.

According to the plan, from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times. Admission wishes to all training institutions are registered by major, program and are ranked from 1 to the end (wish 1 is the highest wish), at the same time candidates must provide data (according to criteria, conditions, registration procedures specified in the admission information of training institutions) corresponding to the major, program registered for admission. All wishes will be processed by the system, each candidate will only be admitted to one highest wish if the admission conditions are met.
For candidates applying for direct admission, priority admission, the deadline for submitting applications is before 5:00 p.m. on June 30, according to the instructions of each training institution. Candidates who are admitted directly will receive notification from the school before July 15, but must still register their admission wishes on the system according to the general schedule. For independent candidates who have graduated from high school or college, if they want to register for admission but have not yet registered their personal information on the system, they need to declare their information from July 10 to 20 to be granted an account to register their admission wishes.
According to the instructions, from July 29 to 5 p.m. on August 5, candidates will pay the online admission fee according to the number of registered wishes. Before 5 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates, including those with direct admission, must confirm their enrollment on the system if they wish to study. From September 1 to December, candidates can continue to participate in additional admission rounds.
There are 19 admission methods.
This year, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates 19 methods of university and college admission, including: Considering high school graduation exam scores, considering academic records, direct admission, competency assessment tests, combining many forms of admission; competency assessment tests, thinking assessments organized by the training institution itself for admission; using competency assessment test results, thinking assessments organized by other units for admission; combining high school graduation exam results with aptitude test scores for admission; combining high school graduation exam results with high school study results for admission... Training institutions must announce the conversion of admission scores between admission methods and combinations if using multiple methods at the same time for a major or group of majors. The conversion rules must be announced at the same time as the threshold to ensure input quality so that candidates can consider choosing their wishes.
Mr. Vo Hoan Hai added that the Department of Education and Training has directed high schools, educational institutions implementing high school continuing education programs and application reception points to guide candidates to comply with admission regulations; assign experienced staff to be on duty, advise, guide and support candidates; review, amend, supplement and adjust priority areas and student information. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training has coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to deploy data connection, integrating the function of looking up population data into the admission system. Application reception points will exploit national population data and compare and confirm, helping candidates not to have to request confirmation (paper copies) themselves as in previous years. Information about the stages of candidates' permanent residence will be checked and authenticated based on population data. The Department has also requested high schools to open computer rooms with Internet connection for candidates to use to register their admission wishes and support candidates who are unable to register online.
