FPT demonstrated “digital shields” at the Hanoi Convention Signing Ceremony

On October 25, FPT Corporation attended the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention) and the International Exhibition within the framework of the event, accompanying the Government in building a safe, autonomous, sustainable digital space and promoting public-private cooperation to protect information security and national digital sovereignty .

The Hanoi Convention is the first legal document of the United Nations on preventing and combating cybercrime. This event also marks a historic step forward when Vietnam becomes the host country to sign the first global convention on cyber security, demonstrating Vietnam's proactive, creative and responsible role in the effort to build a safe, healthy cyberspace and international cooperation for peace and prosperity.

Sharing about the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Board of Directors said: “The future of the world is the digital future. Artificial intelligence is doing many jobs better than humans in each specific field. We will live, work and communicate in the digital space, and at that time, network safety and security will become a matter of survival for every organization and country."

According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh: "The Hanoi Convention is a great symbolic turning point, when for the first time the United Nations signed a global legal framework right in Vietnam. This shows that Vietnam is not only a participant, but also a country that creates and proposes global initiatives. FPT identifies protecting national cybersecurity as the top priority of Vietnamese technology enterprises."

Mr. Binh also affirmed that the public-private co-creation model is Vietnam's strength in the field of cyber security and safety, protecting Vietnam's sovereignty in the digital space.

In particular, the AI Security Monitoring Platform has been selected for deployment in a number of national projects. This platform helps organizations and businesses transform public security and safety work from passive to proactive, predicting and preventing risks from the beginning. The system can detect and prevent up to 80% of potential incidents thanks to its early warning capabilities using AI, analyzing abnormal behavior in real time such as fights, illegal intrusions or dangerous situations, with a response speed 3-5 times faster than manual monitoring, helping authorities intervene promptly and significantly reduce serious incidents in the monitoring area.

FAS is integrated into the school safety management system, helping schools control entry and exit, protect students, and in mobile verification devices, supporting functional forces to ensure civil security, identify criminals anytime, anywhere.

The remote health consultation solution using artificial intelligence (AI) technology is a step forward in personal health management, especially in monitoring important indicators such as blood pressure. This application allows users to use their personal phones to proactively check their blood pressure status through the camera. Blood pressure data will then be analyzed by the AI system, making a preliminary assessment of health status and early warning if there is a risk.
