The first meters of carpet on Ring Road 4

After more than 1 year of implementation, contractors constructing the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region have basically completed the foundation and roadbed and are paving the first kilometers with asphalt concrete.

According to the reporter's records, in the XL8 package passing through the two districts of Dong Anh and Me Linh, the contractor Truong Son Construction Corporation has completed more than 35% of the construction and installation volume. The section passing through Tan Dan commune (Dong Anh) is the highlight of the progress when the asphalt concrete layers have been laid in preparation for completion. (In the photo, the contractor mobilized 50 workers and machines to deploy the asphalt paving).

Sharing with us, a worker operating a paving machine said that this is the first section to be paved in the Ring Road 4 Project - Capital Region. The road is being paved with C25 hollow asphalt, and then 2 more layers will be paved.

With the construction package of the Ring Road 4 section through Hoai Duc district, the unit has completed the construction of the weak soil part and the base stone paving for about 4km. The total construction volume has reached about 30%.

The Ring Road 4 Project - Hanoi Capital Region has a total length of 112.8 km, passing through 3 cities and provinces, including Hanoi (57.95 km), Hung Yen (19.31 km), Bac Ninh (36.26 km). The project has a total investment of over VND 85,813 billion, divided into 7 component projects. The project started on June 25, 2023 and is scheduled to complete the parallel road according to the project approval in 2026, and complete the expressway in 2027.

The Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) of the Ring Road 4 project - Capital Region said that the parallel road (urban road) of Ring Road 4, the section passing through Hanoi, is more than 57km long, passing through the districts: Ha Dong, Dong Anh, Me Linh, Hoai Duc, Thuong Tin... The project's basic completion time is expected to be in 2025 by the investor and contractors.
