In Dong Nai, many examples of female workers are shining in agencies, units and enterprises. Notably, after nearly 4 months of merging the province and implementing the 2-level local government model, many female workers in various fields are still working hard, making important contributions to the socio -economic development of the province.

PART 1: AFFIRMING YOUR CONFIDENCE IN ALL FIELDS

After the process of reorganizing and merging administrative units, many agencies and units have had major changes in structure, tasks and operation methods. In that context, the female labor force, which accounts for a significant proportion of the labor force of Dong Nai province, has been demonstrating a proactive and adaptable spirit, affirming its important role in all fields.

Not only do they perform their professional work well, many women also boldly take on leadership and management positions, pioneering in innovation, initiative and digital transformation. In any position, they demonstrate a sense of responsibility, dedication and creativity, contributing to maintaining the operational efficiency of the unit after the merger.

Courage and creativity in the new era

Phuoc An commune was formed on the basis of merging 3 communes: Phuoc An, Vinh Thanh and Long Tho of the old Nhon Trach district with more than 49 thousand people living in 19 hamlets in the commune, so the workload of handling administrative procedures (TTHC) every day is very large. Female civil servant Huynh Thi Bich Thuy, specialist of the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Phuoc An commune, is highly appreciated by the commune leaders and many people for her dedication, enthusiasm and always trying to do her best in all assigned tasks, especially supporting people in doing administrative procedures. With 18 years of working experience, having been in charge of many fields with many different tasks, Ms. Thuy always strives to work, contributing to building a government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Ms. Thuy is in charge of the records section at the Phuoc An Commune Public Administration Service Center after the merger. She always leaves a deep impression on people with her friendliness, dedicated and responsible working style. Every day, she receives dozens of records in different fields. Despite the large workload and great pressure, she always gently guides and explains clearly, helping people understand and complete the procedures quickly.

"Ms. Thuy is very enthusiastic and gives dedicated guidance. She helps everyone who comes to do paperwork and files carefully" - Ms. Chau Ngoc Anh (Phuoc An commune) shared.

Imbued with the spirit of "Taking people's satisfaction as a measure", Ms. Thuy constantly learns and innovates working methods. When the commune deployed the e-government model and digital transformation, she was one of the first officials to register for a training course on online public services. Thanks to her quickness, she became the core of the commune's digital transformation work, guiding people to submit applications online, use electronic identification accounts, and look up results online. Thanks to that, the rate of online applications in An Phuoc commune increased significantly, the time to process procedures was shortened, contributing to improving people's satisfaction index.

Chon Thanh Ward (Dong Nai Province) was formed on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population size of the previous wards: Hung Long, Thanh Tam and Minh Thanh. For many years, the Stieng ethnic people here have always mentioned the shining example of Ms. Thi Phuong, a prestigious person among the Stieng ethnic people.

Ms. Thi Phuong is a prestigious person among ethnic minorities in the area, especially in mobilizing people to contribute labor and effort to build rural roads, build bright, green, clean and beautiful urban streets and neighborhoods. In the period of 2020-2025, with her prestige, Ms. Thi Phuong mobilized people, especially ethnic minorities, to contribute hundreds of working days, build 3 traffic routes longer than 4.7km, with a total cost of over 250 million VND; planted flowers along the roads and well implemented the Campaign for the whole people to unite to build a cultural life. The number of cultural households in the place of residence is over 98%. She is also the group leader of the model of Living a good life, beautiful religion with nearly 50 members...

The above examples are typical examples of dedication and responsibility to the people and to work... Thereby contributing to spreading the image of cadres and civil servants who "respect the people, are close to the people, understand the people and serve the people", in the spirit of administrative reform that Dong Nai is aiming for.

Flexible adaptation, overcoming difficulties

Teacher Nguyen Hong Nu (Choro ethnic group, Xuan Thanh commune, Dong Nai province) is also an example of a woman who always strives to surpass herself and overcome male-dominated prejudices to study and become a useful person for her family and the community.

But with the determination to overcome prejudice to convince my father to let me continue studying, complete high school, I passed the foreign language pedagogy exam to fulfill my dream. After graduating, I returned to my hometown and have been attached to Nguyen Khuyen Primary School, Xuan Thanh commune for many years now.”

When asked about her experience or how to overcome barriers and prejudices, Ms. Nu said: It is perseverance, always trying and being determined to make dreams come true. She always cares for and encourages students, especially Choro ethnic students in each lesson, helping them to have a strong will and determination to make their dreams come true.

With her tireless efforts, Ms. Nu was honored by the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee as a Prestigious Person among the ethnic minorities of Dong Nai province and was an honored delegate chosen to attend the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 in Hanoi .

Ms. Thi Thanh (Cơro ethnic group, in Lac Chieu quarter, Bao Vinh ward, Dong Nai province) is 72 years old this year but is still active in mass mobilization activities, promoting gong culture among the Choro ethnic group. Sharing about her passion for gong culture, Ms. Thanh said: Since she was young, she followed her mother and the village elders to learn how to play gongs. By the age of 20, she could skillfully perform gong playing and typical folk dances of the Choro people.

“Thanks to my understanding of the Choro gongs, I was trusted by the local government and invited to participate in many performance activities inside and outside the province. Along with that, I participated in teaching gong playing to ethnic minority children, to preserve the traditions of my people,” Ms. Thi Thanh confided.

Currently, Ms. Thanh is the Captain of the Ward's Gong Culture Preservation Team, always guiding and teaching gong playing to local youth, in order to preserve the national cultural tradition in the integration period. With nearly 40 years of participating in local work as the Head of the Women's Association, Captain of the Gong Culture Preservation Team, Ms. Thi Thanh and the Party Committee and government have propagated and mobilized so that a locality with more than 80% ethnic minorities like the old Bao Quang commune (today's Bao Vinh ward) no longer has child marriage and a stable economic life.

The above examples are typical examples of female workers in the renovation period. Despite difficulties, with the determination to assert themselves, they always strive to fulfill their tasks well and excellently; becoming "simple, noble" examples, prestigious people among ethnic minorities in Dong Nai province. They have been striving day and night to assert themselves, contributing to the socio-economic development, joining the cultural flow to preserve traditional values in the diversity and development of Dong Nai province today.

In Dong Nai, female workers account for over 60% of the labor force in society, and have become a force with significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
