Accordingly, organizations and individuals whose electricity is cut off must pay a fee to the electricity supplier to have it restored. The fee for residential electricity users ranges from 98,000 VND to 231,000 VND per power outage; for non-residential electricity users, the fee ranges from 98,000 VND to over 576,000 VND per power outage. This fee does not include value-added tax.
According to Dong Nai Power Company, electricity bill notifications, payment reminders, and notices of temporary power outages due to outstanding bills are now sent via the EVNSPC Customer Service app, Zalo, SMS, and email. The deadline for paying electricity bills is 7 days from the date of receiving the first payment notice. After two payment notices, the power company will issue a notice of temporary power outage, which will last for 24 hours.
