Ninh Thuan strives to earn 4,000 billion VND from tourism by 2025

(To Quoc) - In 2025, Ninh Thuan will continue to develop tourism based on its existing advantages, renewing many tourism products to increase the number of international visitors.


This orientation was stated by Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, at the Ninh Thuan tourism industry review conference for 2024, held on the afternoon of January 8th.

Last year, Ninh Thuan province received over 3.4 million tourists, including approximately 117,000 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism activities was estimated at 3,900 billion VND.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu, Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association, the above achievements stem from the province's tourism industry implementing numerous tourism promotion activities and advertising the local tourism image to friends both domestically and internationally. In particular, tourism businesses have been facilitated in connecting, developing, and expanding international cooperation, reaching many agreements with partners in major source markets such as China, South Korea, and India.

Domestically, Ninh Thuan tourism industry also has many outstanding activities, organizing and participating in tourism events in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen , ... and successfully organizing "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang in 2024", contributing to effectively promoting domestic tourism development.

In addition, many cultural, sports, and tourism events are also organized in Ninh Thuan, attracting a large number of tourists, such as the traditional Dam Nai - Ninh Hai Dragon Boat Race; the Ninh Thuan Open Kiteboarding Championship;...

According to Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association has made efforts to develop many new, high-quality tourism products, contributing significantly to attracting tourists to the locality in 2024.

Mr. Bien shared that in 2025, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee aims to welcome 3.6 million tourists, including approximately 150,000 international visitors. The goal is to achieve a tourism revenue of 4,000 billion VND.

Therefore, the Association needs to continue building on its achievements; provide more specific and detailed suggestions to the province to develop tourism programs and plans based on existing advantages, and attract even more international tourists to the locality.

"Ninh Thuan will create the most favorable conditions for tourism businesses to invest, operate services, and attract tourists to the locality," Mr. Bien affirmed.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Tourism Association awarded Certificates of Merit to one collective and two individuals from the Ninh Thuan Provincial Tourism Association for their significant contributions to tourism development.
