Trump says Jews will be held responsible if they lose the election

VTC NewsVTC News20/09/2024

The former US President said Jewish voters will bear part of the responsibility if he loses to Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election.
Donald Trump believes he has fallen behind Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and that Israel may cease to exist in two years if Harris wins. Jews are partly to blame for that outcome because they tend to vote Democratic. "If I don't win this election, the Jews will be very affected, because they only give me 40% of their support and 60% to my opponent. In my opinion, Israel will cease to exist in two years," said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

According to a CNBC Fed survey released on September 17, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken the lead over former President Donald Trump for the first time in the 2024 election cycle. Specifically, 48% of survey participants believe that Ms. Harris is likely to win, while the rate for Mr. Trump is about 41%.
Previously, a CNBC Fed poll released in late July found that 50% of respondents predicted that Trump would win and only 37% supported Harris. In the months before, when incumbent President Joe Biden was still in the election, about 48% believed that Trump was the most likely to win, 35% predicted that Biden would be re-elected, and the remaining 17% were unsure or did not know. Since Harris entered the race, her campaign has largely focused on her economic platform and policy proposals. Specifically, on economic issues, Harris prioritizes growing the middle class and reducing costs for consumers, providing housing subsidies, expanding tax credits and deductions, and controlling "price gouging" by companies. The US presidential election is held on November 5. The 2024 US general election witnessed fierce competition, a thrilling sprint between two candidates, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
