Former House Speaker Pelosi, a longtime Biden ally, said on MSNBC that Biden must quickly decide whether to continue running for the White House in 2024.
Hollywood star Clooney, a Democrat who co-hosted a fundraiser for Mr Biden last month, withdrew his support with an op-ed in the New York Times saying President Biden was no longer the same person he was in 2020.

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has privately signaled to donors that he is open to another Democratic candidate. And Senator Peter Welch said in an op-ed published on Wednesday that Mr Biden should withdraw, becoming the first Democratic senator to publicly call on the US president to drop out.
A major donor said Democratic leaders have indicated they will issue a statement expressing their concerns about Mr Biden after the NATO summit.
“There will be a bloodbath,” the source said, noting the growing pressure on candidates in this year’s US election, even for those in states once considered “safe.”
Fox News reported late Wednesday that several Democratic senators are expected to express their reservations during a meeting with Biden on Thursday.
Over the past two weeks, Mr. Biden, 81, has sought to stave off a boycott by Democratic lawmakers, donors and other allies who fear he could not defeat Republican Donald Trump in the 2020 U.S. election, following his disastrous performance in the June 27 presidential debate.
Asked to comment on Pelosi's remarks and Clooney's article, Mr Biden's campaign pointed to a letter he sent to Democrats in the US Congress , saying he was "firmly committed" to staying in the race and defeating Mr Trump.
