Many positive results
At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Nguyen Minh Quang reported the results of the first 6 months of 2025 in implementing the tasks of science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025. In which, the results synthesized according to the reports of departments and branches in the first 6 months of the year, there were 6 completed tasks, 97 tasks need to be completed in the last 6 months of the year.

Regarding digital infrastructure development, the 5G coverage rate in Dong Nai province reached 13.8%. Regarding the provision of online public services and digital government development, the rate of full online records out of the total records of administrative procedure settlement of full online public services in the first 6 months of the year reached 64.6%.
Regarding management and administration in the digital environment, 100% of Party committees and commune and ward authorities use unified management and administration software. Dong Nai province has deployed an online meeting system for Party and State agencies in the province...

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, the Ministry of Public Security deployed 11 new utilities on VNeID, bringing the total number of utilities provided by the Ministry of Public Security on VNeID to 38. In the first 6 months of the year, the two provinces of Dong Nai (old) and Binh Phuoc (old) organized the collection of more than 180.3 thousand applications for ID cards (new issuance, exchange, re-issuance of ID cards). The rate of permanent residents in the area with ID cards/ID cards reached more than 91.4%.
Regarding the results of administrative reform in the first 6 months of the year, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province, Ha Thanh Tung, said that currently, the total number of administrative procedures after decentralization, delegation of authority, and determination of authority at the local level is 2,176 procedures. Of which, at the provincial level, there are 1,792 administrative procedures and at the commune level, there are 384 administrative procedures.

In the first 6 months of the year, the administrative procedure settlement of the two provinces of Dong Nai (old) and Binh Phuoc (old) continued to achieve many positive results, with the rate of files processed correctly and before the deadline at all 3 levels maintained at a high level of over 98%. From July 1 to 30, after operating the 2-level local government model, the total number of files received reached nearly 12.9 thousand files. The rate of files processed before and on time reached 96.98%.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized the launching of the Digital Signature Promotion Week for departments, branches, and commune-level administrative agencies every month. At the same time, he requested Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio, and Television to continue promoting propaganda, opening special pages and columns on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, administrative reform in the province in many forms, with visual, vivid, and multi-platform content.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television Nguyen Thi Minh Nham shared: Propaganda work on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06 provinces, information on Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW has been promoted on the platforms of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television. Notable examples include: IT Today program on television, Dong Nai & Resolution 57 column on e-newspapers, specialized pages on digital transformation, science, technology on printed newspapers... with many news, articles, and reports with diverse content and form.

In addition, Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television is researching and proposing a Project on the Strategy for comprehensive modernization and digital transformation of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television for the period 2025-2030, to continue to innovate, develop strongly, and meet future tasks.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son set the goal of bringing Dong Nai into the top 5 localities leading the country in science, technology, digital transformation, and innovation.

The leaders of Dong Nai province requested the Department of Science and Technology to preside over, research, and propose specific solutions to promote digital economic development, especially core and key tasks to increase the contribution of the digital economy to the province's GRDP; at the same time, develop digital society and digital citizens effectively and substantially, and develop a plan to organize a provincial-level innovation forum.
In addition, relevant departments and sectors need to focus on removing difficulties and barriers in connection and sharing digital data, improving the efficiency of data exploitation; developing human resources in science and technology, especially at the commune level. Provincial leaders proposed selecting a number of departments, sectors, communes and wards to pilot the provision of online public services in an appropriate manner to evaluate, learn from experience and replicate effective models.
