Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province emphasized that the contest is an opportunity for each citizen and young person to become an ambassador to spread positive emotions, contributing to promoting the image of the homeland to friends at home and abroad.
On the afternoon of July 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An coordinated with the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information ( Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) to organize the launching ceremony of the photo and video contest "Nghe An happiness - Happy Nghe An 2025".
The contest is a practical activity to honor cultural and natural values, achievements in socio -economic development and especially the beauty of Nghe An people who are full of love, diligence, creativity, solidarity and always striving for happiness.
Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province shared: "Happiness sometimes comes from very simple things: the smile of a child going to school, the eyes of a farmer during harvest season, the peaceful village road, or the sacred moment with the family... Each photo and video can become an inspirational story, bringing the image of Nghe An far and wide".

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above, regardless of professional or non-professional. Entries can be single photos, photo series or video clips with a maximum duration of 5 minutes. The images must be recorded in Nghe An, truly reflecting the beauty of life, culture, people and development of the locality.
According to the rules, the photos must be of high quality (minimum 3MB, shortest 3,000 pixels). The video must be Full HD or higher, not exceeding 200MB. Each author can submit an unlimited number of works.
Notably, the Organizing Committee encourages the use of modern communication technology, integrating creative elements to enhance the spread and communication effect.
The works that win First, Second and Third prizes not only receive certificates and bonuses according to regulations, but also have points for admission to the Nghe An Literature and Arts Association and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (for authors who are not members); are considered for titles and participate in the Excellent Photography Award, and are considered for creative support according to the regulations of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (applicable to authors who are members of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists).

About 100 excellent works that make it to the final round will be selected for exhibition to serve foreign communication work, contributing to affirming the image of Nghe An as friendly, peaceful and developing.
The time for receiving works is from July 15, 2025 to October 1, 2025. The works must be composed between January 1, 2023 and October 1, 2025. Authors submit their entries at: https://nghean.vietnam.vn .
The contest "Nghe An Happiness" is not only an art playground, but also an opportunity for each citizen, tourist, artist, photographer... to tell their own happy story through the lens, contributing to making Nghe An a livable place, firmly on the journey of integration and development.
The representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An expressed his hope: "With the participation of press agencies, artists, creative communities, especially the response from the people, we believe that the Contest will become a place to preserve beautiful, authentic moments, contributing to bringing the image of Nghe An closer to the hearts of friends everywhere."
