From October 21 to November 1, expanding the search for martyrs' remains in Xa Re village, Khe Sanh commune, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Economic - Defense Group 337 recovered two sets of remains lying at a depth of about 0.8 - 1m, wrapped in martyrs' bags, with many bones still remaining.
The recovered relics include a whole piece of canvas, parachute fabric, parachute cord, buttons, shoe soles, shoe buckles, belt buckles, oil can lids, glass bottles, communication cables... Notably, in the second remains collected on November 1, there was a small aluminum plate engraved with the letters SH 1-99X.

From May 19 to now, in Xa Re village, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team has searched and recovered a total of 24 remains, of which 22 remains have been buried at the Khe Sanh Commune Martyrs' Cemetery.
The two newly discovered remains are being burned incense and preserved at the Khe Sanh Commune Spiritual Cultural Area. The unit is currently expanding the search around the above area.
