Forest Ranger Department of Region IV inspected Gieng Tuong Street, Quarter III - Phao Dai; Group 7, Xa Xia Quarter; Border Marker 314, Ba Ly Quarter; Thi Van Street, Thach Dong Quarter; Group 10, Group 11 of Quarter V - Dong Ho.
The working group inspected according to the list provided by the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (C05), Ministry of Public Security . After checking 5/5 points on the list, the authorities did not detect any cases of using tools and instruments to trap and capture wild animals.
Authorities seized nets and tools used to trap and catch animals.
However, during the patrol and inspection in Ha Tien ward, the working group discovered 8 cases of using nets and tools to trap and catch animals. These cases were all recorded for verification and warning.
At the time of inspection, no acts of trapping wild animals or migratory birds were detected. The working group propagated and explained to help people understand the harmful effects of illegal hunting and the sanctions of the law.
Five cases voluntarily dismantled and confiscated about 500m of nets and pledged not to repeat the act of using nets to hunt animals. For the three cases where the owners were absent, the authorities dismantled and confiscated about 600m of nets.
