This activity is implemented within the framework of Cisco's National Digital Transformation Acceleration Program (CDA) in Vietnam, with the goal of accompanying the Government 's comprehensive digital transformation strategy, aiming to digitize all national databases and improve the quality of public services by 2030.

Through this cooperation, the pilot model will be an important stepping stone to building a digital infrastructure platform that meets the requirements of scale, features and security for the government data system. This data center plays a key role in building a digital government, ensuring synchronous data connection from the central to local levels. This will create a premise to improve the efficiency of public service delivery to the people, by digitizing documents and deploying online public services at all levels of government.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Nhu Dung - General Director of Cisco Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia; Mr. Ha Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of ETC Board of Directors; Mr. Le Thanh Trung - Deputy General Director of ETC.

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhu Dung - General Director of Cisco Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia: “Cisco's CDA program represents Cisco's commitment to the development of Vietnam. In the context of businesses in Vietnam transforming to digital and applying artificial intelligence (AI), they need secure and scalable network infrastructure to realize their AI ambitions. The cooperation with ETC demonstrates the two parties' shared commitment to accelerating Vietnam's digital transformation journey, and reflects the strong cooperative relationship between the two parties over the past two decades."

Cisco's National Digital Transformation Acceleration (CDA) Program in Vietnam is built in line with the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030 in Decision No. 749/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. Officially launched in June 2024, the program focuses on promoting digital economic growth, technological innovation and enhancing cybersecurity capacity through public-private partnerships. The strategic initiative between Cisco and ETC marks an important step forward in the implementation of the CDA program in Vietnam, especially in supporting digital transformation in the public sector.

Within the framework of cooperation, Cisco will design and provide products, software and services to build data center models, while supporting experts and organizing training activities to complete the next generation of Secure Data Centers.

ETC will lead the pilot implementation, provide real-world application scenarios and test environments, and coordinate training and workshops related to the implementation of this model. Upon completion, Cisco and ETC will demonstrate this solution at the ETC Data Center, welcoming research and working delegations from government agencies to visit and witness the technology firsthand. This initiative aims to support the national digital transformation strategy and promote an innovation ecosystem for businesses.
