The Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Dang Khanh Toan, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On the afternoon of November 13th, the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel matters. Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department, Le Minh Hung, chaired the conference.
At the conference, the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1668-QĐNS/TW dated November 8, 2024, of the Politburo on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Dang Khanh Toan, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Central Organization Department Le Minh Hung stated that to ensure the continuous leadership and guidance of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo has decided to transfer and appoint Comrade Dang Khanh Toan, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, to the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Comrade Dang Khanh Toan is a well-trained cadre who has held many important positions, directly assisting key central leaders; he has been entrusted with this task by the Politburo.
Comrade Le Minh Hung expressed his hope that the new Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee would uphold the local traditions, be dynamic and creative; continue to lead and direct Nam Dinh's rapid and sustainable development; and live up to the expectations of the Central Committee. He requested that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee of Nam Dinh pay attention to and assist Comrade Dang Khanh Toan in successfully fulfilling his assigned tasks; in the immediate future, to successfully organize the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; and to lead Nam Dinh to rise even stronger in the new era - the era of national progress.
In his acceptance speech, Nam Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Dang Khanh Toan affirmed that, to fulfill the assigned tasks, he must continue to strive, dedicate himself wholeheartedly, be impartial, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, and apply the knowledge, lessons, and experience gained from his previous work; be humble, open-minded, and wholeheartedly serve the Party and the people; work together with the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee and the entire political system in unity and consensus, strictly adhering to the Party's regulations and rules; and leverage collective intelligence to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term; successfully organize Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress; and effectively carry out the tasks of building the political system and rectifying the Party. Continue to implement decisively, synchronously, and effectively the solutions for socio-economic development, especially key projects of the locality and the central government in the province.
The Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that with the unity and solidarity of the entire provincial Party Committee, and the support and participation of all sectors of the population, Nam Dinh will certainly continue to build upon its achievements and results, overcome difficulties and challenges, develop rapidly and sustainably, and make a commensurate contribution to the country in the new era, the era of national progress.
Immediately following the announcement of the Politburo's decision on personnel matters, Politburo member, Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Central Organization Department Le Minh Hung chaired a working session with the Standing Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee on the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; the situation regarding the implementation of tasks in 2024 and some key tasks in the coming period.
According to Le Quoc Chinh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, in 2024, the socio-economic development of Nam Dinh province maintained a relatively high growth rate, with all 14 key socio-economic development indicators meeting or exceeding the set targets.
Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 10.35%, the highest ever and higher than the national average; total budget revenue is estimated at 14,000 billion VND, an increase of 34% compared to 2023… The work of building new, improved, and model rural areas continues to be given attention and achieved positive results, exceeding the set plan; key projects, especially regional connectivity transportation infrastructure projects, have been completed and exceeded the set plan; many good results have been achieved in the fields of culture and society, health, education, science and technology; national defense and security continue to be maintained, and social order and safety are ensured.
