At the working session with the People's Committee of Tan Chau Town and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, the units reported on the progress of implementation and disbursement of public investment capital, and at the same time made proposals and recommendations to focus on removing difficulties in project implementation.

The delegation visited the construction site of the embankment protecting the residential area of ​​Chau Phong commune and the joint control station of Vinh Xuong international border gate - two important projects serving people's lives and economic development in the border area.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc acknowledged Tan Chau's efforts in implementing the task, with the disbursement rate so far reaching 26%, higher than the average rate of the whole province. At the same time, he requested that the locality continue to promote the results, striving to reach 40% in the first 6 months of the year and at least 70% by the end of the third quarter of 2025.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to enhance their sense of responsibility, closely monitor the progress of each project, proactively remove obstacles and closely coordinate with specialized units in implementing investment procedures. The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board continues to promote its role as an investor, proactively coordinate with departments, branches and construction contractors, and promptly handle remaining problems and obstacles. At the same time, the unit needs to do a good job of advising and proposing solutions to remove difficulties within the scope of assigned responsibilities and powers, contributing to speeding up the construction progress of projects under the unit's responsibility.
