Representing Yen Thanh district were: Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Binh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Phan Van Tuyen - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee, leaders of departments and agencies of Yen Thanh district, and a large number of people from Phan Dang Luu hamlet, Nam Thanh commune.

Phan Dang Luu hamlet is located in the central area of Nam Thanh commune, with a total natural area of 57.47 hectares, of which 37 hectares are agricultural land. It has 316 households with 1,115 inhabitants, belonging to 16 clans. The people's economic life is mainly based on income from various occupations, and their cultural life is constantly developing, having been recognized as a Cultural Village in 2004.

Over the past year, the hamlet has united and mobilized all sectors of the population to successfully implement the criteria for advanced new rural development, synchronously developing the infrastructure system, mobilizing over 1.9 billion VND for infrastructure construction; building a green, clean, and beautiful natural environment, a healthy social environment, and ensuring social welfare; strengthening community bonds, solidarity, love, and mutual assistance; increasing the number of well-off and wealthy households, and decreasing the number of poor households.

The hamlet effectively implements regulations regarding weddings, funerals, and festivals; ensuring social order, safety, and traffic safety. It improves the quality of activities of the Party committee, Party branches, and political and social organizations in the residential area; builds an increasingly clean and strong political system; and enhances the appearance of the hamlet, contributing to Nam Thanh commune achieving advanced new rural standards by the end of 2023.

Notably, 100% of the roads in the area are paved, with 98% being asphalt and concrete; all roads are equipped with lighting systems, and flagpoles and flowerbeds have been installed, along with planted trees.
The hamlet has 30 hectares of double-cropping rice land, 5 hectares of arable land and aquaculture land, including a field that yields an income of 150 million VND/hectare. The hamlet has 3 duck farms that meet VietGAP standards and participate in supplying 3-star OCOP products of the commune. There are 5 highly effective economic development models in the hamlet. To date, the percentage of culturally exemplary families in the hamlet has reached 89%, with 157 households classified as well-off or wealthy, accounting for 49.7%, and only 3 poor households remaining, representing 0.94%. The average per capita income is 67.5 million VND/year; the percentage of culturally exemplary families is 89%.

Sharing in the joy with the people of Phan Dang Luu hamlet, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An congratulated and praised the results and achievements of the people in the hamlet in the past period.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that unity is a fine tradition and a strength of our nation in all stages of the revolution. Comrade Bui Thanh An expressed his hope that in the coming time, Phan Dang Luu hamlet will continue to unite, be in agreement, uphold traditions, and effectively implement patriotic emulation movements.

In addition, the hamlet continues to effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; care for the cause of national unity; build many models and exemplary cases in various fields of social life; create social consensus to help each other develop the economy, eradicate hunger and poverty, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; help each other with seeds, livestock, and experience to develop production, gradually improve living standards, and contribute to the successful achievement of socio-economic goals and the construction of new rural areas in the locality.

At the same time, we uphold the tradition of remembering our roots and showing gratitude, fostering a spirit of mutual support and compassion, providing assistance to wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution; engaging in activities to help the poor – ensuring no one is left behind; and assisting lonely elderly people, orphaned children without a place to live, and those who are unfortunate, facing risks, or suffering hardships in life.
The community promotes democracy, maintains discipline, and everyone lives and works in accordance with the constitution and laws; effectively implements grassroots democracy regulations, community conventions and customs, and mobilizes everyone in the community to say no to the production of unsafe food. The entire population participates in the movement to prevent and combat crime and social evils, and protect rural security.

The Phan Dang Luu hamlet also needs to continue to promote and preserve its traditions and cultural lifestyle, effectively implementing the criteria for building cultural families and cultural villages; promoting civilized practices in weddings, funerals, festivals, and organizing cultural, artistic, and sports activities; strengthening the movement of exemplary grandparents, parents, and filial children..., building a healthy living environment, and preserving and promoting traditional moral values.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Bui Thanh An presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 10 families in extremely difficult circumstances in the area. He also donated 50 million VND to Phan Dang Luu hamlet.
The District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Thanh District donated 20 million VND to Phan Dang Luu hamlet; and presented 15 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 15 families in difficult circumstances.
Nam Thanh commune also awarded 42 families the title of Exemplary Cultural Family for the period 2021-2023.
