Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh inspected the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway.

TPO - On March 13, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh inspected the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.

Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister , Mr. Phan Van Ton - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district - said that the main route of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway, nearly 11.5km long, has now handed over all the land. The parallel route, 20km long, has handed over 19.43km of land, and is currently stuck with more than 20 documents.

The Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board recommended that the leaders of Da Nang City direct Hoa Vang District and related units to speed up the procedures for compensation payment, support, resettlement arrangements and have more drastic solutions to require people to hand over the remaining 500m of land in March 2025. At the same time, direct the Infrastructure Project Management Board to prioritize completing the procedures for selecting contractors to start construction of resettlement area No. 1 in March; speed up the implementation of procedures for the remaining 2 resettlement areas to meet the construction plan to ensure completion in 2025.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, one of the project's difficulties is the source of stone materials. The Board recommends that the Da Nang City People's Committee soon approve the increase in capacity of Truong Ban stone quarry to 200,000m3 and prioritize the supply of stone for the project.

In addition, the Southern Da Son II quarry of Phu My Hoa Company Limited (at the Project of Upgrading and Renovating the Internal Defense Road D32) is currently applying for the supply of nearly 600,000m3 of reclaimed stone and for the extension of the mining license. It is recommended that the City People's Committee consider approving the Southern Da Son II quarry to sell available reclaimed stone as common construction materials specifically for the expressway project, and to allow continued exploitation to have a source of stone supply for the next La Son - Hoa Lien expressway expansion project.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway is expected to be completed by the end of August 2025.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested Hoa Vang district and related units to hand over the entire land before March 29. After this time, if households still do not comply, measures will be taken according to legal regulations.

Regarding the issue of construction stone, Da Nang coordinated with Military Region V to complete the procedures so that the Southern Da Son II quarry could be sold for the expressway project. “The spirit is to sit together to handle it immediately, not to let this 600,000m3 be “shelved”, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway construction project, part of the North - South Expressway east of Da Nang City, has a total length of nearly 11.5km and a total investment of more than VND2,100 billion. The expressway is expected to be completed by the end of August.
