In A Doi commune, information from the People's Committee of the commune said that there were 3 flooded spots due to heavy rain at the overflow culverts of Loa and Xa Tuong villages, causing the road through the commune to be isolated in sections.

The leaders of Ba Tang Primary and Secondary Boarding School have asked for permission from their superiors to let students stay home to ensure safety. Only one school in a safe area continues to organize classes. Currently, 11 teachers of the school are stuck at Km38 of DT.586 and are temporarily staying at local people's houses. To ensure safety, the A Doi commune authorities have put up warning signs, prohibiting passage at the overflow tunnels, and have assigned forces to be on duty and monitor locations at risk of flooding and landslides.

In La Lay commune, heavy rain also caused the overflow bridges in the area to be flooded from 1.2 to 1.5 meters high. In particular, the overflow bridges on National Highway 15D, the inter-commune road Ta Rut - A Vao (old), Ky Ne and A Deng villages... were partially flooded. The local authorities sent forces to set up checkpoints to prevent people and vehicles from passing. The areas of A Ngo and A Deng villages were isolated.

In Ta Rut commune, the rising river water also caused flooding in some areas such as: the Ta Rut to A Vao road has 2 flooded spillways, the spillway in the Huc Nghi resettlement area (old) is partially flooded. Currently, the commune has directed villages and hamlets to notify people not to go to the fields, work on the fields, or pass through dangerous areas. Schools have proactively allowed students in flooded and isolated areas to take time off from school.

According to a report from the Office of the Civil Defense Command of Quang Tri province, due to prolonged heavy rain, many locations and inter-village roads in the province were flooded and cut off.

For example, in Ba Long commune, 5 spillways were flooded, the deepest was 2m; in Dakrong commune, 3 flooded points caused separation from 0.9 - 1.5m. In Nam Hai Lang commune, 6 roads along the O Lau river in An Tho, Phu Kinh, Hoi Dien, My Chanh, Hung Nhon, Cau Nhi villages were flooded from 1m to 1.2m deep and the water level continued to rise.
