The Lady emphasized that Vietnamese is not only a means of communication but also a bond that connects each person to their family, community and homeland. Through learning Vietnamese, students understand more about their grandparents and parents - the people who always want their children to look back to their national roots.

Pleased to know that the Vietnamese language class at Vesala School has been maintained for nearly 40 years, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly thanked the Helsinki Department of Education and the Board of Directors of Vesala School for creating favorable conditions for the class, and thanked the dedication and perseverance of the Vietnamese teachers who are silently spreading the flame, preserving the Vietnamese language, and cultivating love for the homeland for the young generation.
