Phu Ninh receives 2 new investment projects registered in

As a result, at Cho Lo Industrial Park, construction of 2 projects has started and 2 new investment projects have been registered. In the first 6 months of the year, 137 new business registration certificates and 6 cooperatives have been issued in the area.

The value of industrial and handicraft production in the district reached more than 1,243.7 billion VND, equal to 40.3% of the plan, up 7.9% over the same period in 2023; the value of commercial and service assets reached more than 1,966.8 billion VND, reaching 48.1% of the plan, up 9.1% over the same period in 2023.

Assessing the achieved results, Mr. Vu Van Tham - Chairman of Phu Ninh District People's Council said that the socio -economic situation in the first 6 months of 2024 still has many difficulties. For example, budget revenue has not reached the plan, the disbursement rate of capital sources is very low; the progress of site clearance for key projects, although focused on, has not met the requirements such as DH12 Road, Anh Tho Kindergarten, Central Region Linkage Project, the work of establishing investment procedures for works in the 2024 public investment plan is slow...

During the 2 days, the District People's Council will focus on discussing to clarify the causes and propose solutions, thereby creating higher political determination to overcome difficulties and challenges in order to complete and exceed the targets and tasks for 2024 set out in the Resolution of the District People's Council at the 12th Session.
