Quang Tri women honored to receive Nguyen Thi Dinh Award

Today, October 8, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) organized the first Nguyen Thi Dinh Award Ceremony and honored the 2024 district-level Women's Union president.

This is the first year that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union has awarded the Nguyen Thi Dinh Award. Among the 30 delegates from across the country, Quang Tri has a typical representative, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Lan, President of the Women's Union of Trieu Phong district.

The Nguyen Thi Dinh Award is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for full-time officials of the Women's Union at all levels with outstanding achievements, many initiatives and creativity in innovating the content and methods of the association's activities, contributing to building a strong organization of the Vietnam Women's Union.

As a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union and President of the Trieu Phong District Women's Union, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Lan has always performed her leadership role well, constantly innovated and created in directing the implementation of the Union's activities and women's movements, notably effectively implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's and 3 clean's", contributing to bringing Trieu Phong district to the new rural finish line soon.

In the content of praising exemplary district-level Women's Union chairmen this year, there was the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Chairwoman of Vinh Linh District Women's Union, with her contributions and breakthrough initiatives for the union's work and the women's movement in the locality. Under the leadership and direction of Ms. Tuyet, Vinh Linh District Women's Union has always completed its tasks excellently, for 3 consecutive years it has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the First Class Labor Medal by the President in 2022.

These are typical examples, representing the collective of Women's Union cadres in the whole province with their tireless dedication and efforts, contributing to the common cause of the women's movement, contributing to the construction and socio-economic development of Quang Tri province.
