PVCFC won 2 awards at Industrie 4.0 Awards 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - On June 22, Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) was honored at Industrie 4.0 Awards 2025 with two prestigious categories: Top Industry 4.0 Enterprises and Top Science, Technology & Innovation organizations/enterprises.

This result has demonstrated PVCFC's pioneering role in the journey of comprehensive digital transformation, applying modern technology to production and business and sustainable development of the agricultural sector.

Facing the inevitable trend of the fourth industrial revolution, PVCFC has integrated technology into all activities: from building smart factories, optimizing supply chains to developing digital platforms to serve farmers, forming an efficient and modern agricultural ecosystem.

Comprehensive digital ecosystem

Accompanying farmers in the digital age, PVCFC has pioneered the creation and implementation of many smart technology solutions, contributing to the transformation of traditional agricultural production methods into modern, efficient and sustainable farming models. In particular, two outstanding applications, "2Nong" - a digital agricultural assistant and "Anh Hai Ca Mau " - the first artificial intelligence (AI) in the agricultural sector in Vietnam, were honored by VTV's "Imprint 2023" program as typical innovations of the year.

In addition, PVCFC owns a comprehensive digital ecosystem, including platforms such as: ERP system, electronic office (e-Office), human resource management (HRM), digital business and customer service (DMS), customer relationship management (CRM) and many digital solutions in marketing - communication.

Synchronizing and automating these systems has helped PVCFC process work quickly and accurately, improve operational efficiency and management quality, while shortening procedure processing time, increasing labor productivity and optimizing resources.

Modern factory system with world-class efficiency

PVCFC currently owns 3 factories: Ca Mau Fertilizer, Ca Mau NPK and Han-Viet NPK, with a total capacity of nearly 1.5 million tons of fertilizer/year. The factories are invested synchronously according to international standards, equipped with modern technology, stable operation and continuous technical improvement.

Notably, Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant is recognized as a record-breaking facility among tropical plants using fluidized bed granulation technology of Tokyo Engineering Corp (Japan), and is also ranked by Haldor Topsoe (Denmark) in the Top 10% of plants with the lowest energy consumption in the world, with a consumption of only about 28 GJ/ton of product.

Over the years, PVCFC has successfully implemented a cluster of science and technology projects with hundreds of innovative initiatives, including 11 exclusive patents and useful solutions granted by the Department of Intellectual Property - Ministry of Science and Technology. The company also cooperates with international partners such as Haldor Topsoe and Wuhuan Engineering to optimize operations and expand plant capacity.

In the coming time, PVCFC will implement many investment projects at Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant, gradually transforming into a smart factory with a closed, modern production process.

Vietnamese products, international quality

Not only focusing on optimizing factory operations, PVCFC also invests heavily in research and application of modern technology to develop specialized fertilizer product lines that are environmentally friendly and suitable for sustainable farming trends.

It is the thorough investment and superior product quality that has helped PVCFC attract customers effectively, bringing the NPK Ca Mau brand to the second position nationwide after just over three years of entering the segment. At the same time, PVCFC continues to maintain its leading position in many key markets with a urea market share of 72% in the Southwest, 35% in the Southeast - Central Highlands and 40% in Cambodia.

Notably, PVCFC has recently become the first Vietnamese enterprise to be awarded Level One certification by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry – the highest level of assessment in the country’s inorganic fertilizer import management system. The certification affirms that Ca Mau granular urea products fully meet the requirements of biosafety, traceability, infrastructure and modern supply chain control capacity. The product is also classified in the group of suppliers meeting the highest standards, allowed to sell at preferential prices and enjoy fast customs clearance in the Australian market.
