Military Region 1: Visiting and presenting gifts to the Rehabilitation Center for War Veterans in Thai Nguyen Province.

On July 24th, a delegation from Military Region 1 visited and presented gifts to the Rehabilitation Center for Meritorious People in Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation presented gifts from the Ministry of National Defense to the Rehabilitation Center for War Veterans in Thai Nguyen province.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Center for the Care of Meritorious Individuals, located in Dai Phuc commune, was established in 2004 with the function and nhiệm vụ of: Organizing care, health care, and health rehabilitation for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veteran revolutionary cadres, and social policy beneficiaries... Each year, the Center welcomes more than 2,000 meritorious individuals for rest and recuperation.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27) and in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 1, the delegation from Military Region 1 expressed its appreciation and gratitude for the sense of responsibility and dedication of the staff and employees of the Center in caring for war invalids and martyrs...

The delegation hopes that the staff of the Provincial Center for the Care of Meritorious Individuals will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, perform their assigned tasks well, and contribute to the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies, showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, authorized by the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 1, the delegation presented gifts and cash worth 20 million VND to the Rehabilitation Center for Meritorious People in Thai Nguyen province.
