Quang Ngai welcomes more than 187,000 visitors on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays

On May 1, information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province said that it is estimated that during the 5-day holiday (April 27 - May 1), the whole province welcomed about 187,600 visitors.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of visitors reached 117%, revenue is estimated at 169 billion VND, reaching 121% over the same period in 2023.

During the 5-day holiday, the weather in Quang Ngai province was quite hot, so the number of people coming to have fun at beaches, streams, and lakes increased sharply.

Some tourist areas and spots have a large number of visitors such as: My Khe beach (Quang Ngai city) 30,000 visitors, Minh Tan beach (Mo Duc district) 14,000 visitors, Suoi Chi (Nghia Hanh district) 4,000 visitors, Bui Hui (Ba To district) about 5,000 visitors.

Particularly in Ly Son district, from the day of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024 (April 22 - May 1), about 10,000 visitors were welcomed.

Many events were held on the island to celebrate the National Liberation Day, International Labor Day and Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2024, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and relax.

In general, tourism activities in the province during the holidays take place safely and securely.

Tourist accommodation establishments, tourist areas and tourist attractions in the province are well prepared in terms of facilities, human resources to serve tourists and conditions to ensure security and safety in fire prevention, rescue, and absolute safety for guests.
