
The goods include instant noodles, rice, milk, drinks, candy, sausages, dried fish, medicine, medical bandages and flashlights. All are classified and carefully packaged for convenient transportation and distribution. The goods are expected to arrive in Ngoc Linh commune in the evening of the same day for distribution to the people. This is the second "charity trip" organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in 2 days, bringing the total amount of relief supplies for the 5 isolated villages to 7.5 tons.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai , said that in the morning of the same day, the government and people had opened a path across the landslide site to transport relief goods. As soon as the temporary road was available, the department urgently transported 5 tons of goods to Ngoc Linh commune for timely distribution to the people.

Currently, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to receive support for 400 households until November 8, and at the same time, survey the actual needs to expand the support list, adding materials such as corrugated iron, cement, nails... to serve the repair of houses after the end of isolation.
Previously, on the morning of October 28, a serious landslide occurred in the mountainous area of Ngoc Nang village (Ngoc Linh commune) after a loud explosion, cutting off the main traffic route, completely isolating 5 villages in the commune.
