The “ Hanoi Singing Contest 2025” organized by Hanoi Radio and Television received 500 applications. After two preliminary rounds, the Jury selected 60 contestants who were assessed to have equal quality and outstanding in many different music genres. The contest not only recognized many potential candidates in the pop music genre, but also had many impressive candidates in the folk and chamber music genres.
Quang Ninh has 1 semi-finalist, Nguyen Thuy Hai Anh (registration number 224), born in 2009 in Hong Gai ward, currently studying in the 2nd year of the Intermediate Vocal Music class at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Hai Anh won the Gold Medal at the 2022 Quang Ninh Province "Green Melody" Contest, second prize at the 2022 National Pink Melody Contest, Gold Medal at the Yoshine Music Festival 2024 music talent search contest, and A prize at the 2024 National Music Festival. At the 2025 Hanoi Singing Contest, Hai Anh competed in the light music genre.
According to the plan, Hai Anh and 59 other outstanding faces will compete in the semi-finals for light music, chamber music, and folk music, taking place on November 14, 15, and 16, 2025, respectively.
