In Vinh Dinh, Dien Sanh, Ba Long, Dakrong, Nam Hai Lang communes... heavy rain and rising water caused thousands of houses to be deeply submerged in water, many village and hamlet roads were flooded from 1m to 1.5m, many roads in mountainous areas were eroded and damaged.

Local authorities have assigned forces to place signs prohibiting vehicles from passing through flooded areas and overflowing culverts to avoid damage. They have proactively allowed students to stay home from school to ensure safety.

The Quang Tri Provincial Civil Defense Command requested relevant localities and units to inspect, review, and deploy measures to ensure the safety of key works and works under construction, and arrange permanent forces to operate and regulate reservoirs according to procedures, ensuring absolute safety for downstream areas and being ready to handle situations and incidents that may occur. Along with that, units and localities in the province need to proactively take measures to drain water to prevent flooding, protect production, business, urban areas, and residential areas.
