Que Ngoc Hai injured, out of Vietnam's match against Korea

The Vietnamese team continues to suffer losses ahead of the friendly match with South Korea. Que Ngoc Hai was injured in the match with China and will not be able to recover in time for tomorrow's match. The Binh Duong FC midfielder suffered a calf injury.

Que Ngoc Hai was not registered to play in the practice match with Uzbekistan on October 13. Coach Philippe Troussier used Bui Hoang Viet Anh in the center of the three central defenders of the Vietnamese team and gave the captain's armband to the player of the Hanoi Police Club.

Meanwhile, Quang Hai suffered an injury in the practice match with Uzbekistan. The midfielder born in 1997 only played for 16 minutes before leaving the field on a stretcher, making way for Nguyen Hoang Duc. Quang Hai suffered a calf injury and will have to rest for about a month.

In addition to the two cases mentioned above, the Vietnamese team also has an injury case, Ho Van Cuong. The U23 player suffered pain after a collision in the match against China and had to have 7 stitches. He did not participate in the match against Uzbekistan but could return in the match against Korea.

The friendly match between Vietnam and South Korea will take place at 6pm tomorrow, October 17. The South Korean team is unlikely to have Son Heung-min as this player has not fully recovered from injury.

"Son Heung-min may not play tomorrow night," coach Jurgen Klinsmann said at a press conference before the friendly match between the Korean team and the Vietnamese team. Son Heung-min suffered a minor injury before joining the Korean team. He did not play a single minute in the win over Tunisia a few days ago.

Coach Klinsmann added: "We have to check the physical condition of Son Heung-min and Hwang In-beom in the official training session this afternoon before we can decide whether they will play in the match against Vietnam or not."
