Launching Wuling Bingo S high-end version for only 280 million VND

It is very likely that in the future, Wuling Bingo S will also be sold in the Vietnamese market.

Wuling Bingo is a small and cheap electric car that was first launched in the Chinese market in 2023. After 2 years, this model is about to have a new version called Wuling Bingo S. This is the 3rd version of this car line, after Bingo and Bingo Plus.

Ahead of its launch, the first official images of the new 2025 Wuling Bingo S have been released. The car will be positioned higher than the Wuling Bingo Plus and will be officially launched later this year with an expected starting price of 80,000 - 100,000 yuan (about 280 - 350 million VND). Meanwhile, the Wuling Bingo Plus currently has a starting price of 75,800 yuan (about 265 million VND).

Through the initial official images, it can be seen that the Wuling Bingo S continues the design language of the Bingo line with a rounded body, classic triangular headlights, a trapezoidal grille on the front bumper with decorative silver trim and taillights connecting the two sides.

On the side, the Wuling Bingo S has a two-tone body design with the A, B, and C pillars all painted black. The traditional door handles are still retained. In addition, the fast and slow charging ports are located on the left front fender. In addition, this model is also equipped with 16-inch wheels with a double 5-spoke design and a two-tone color scheme, bringing a youthful style.

On June 20, 2025, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) revealed that the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture had applied for a sales license for Bingo S. According to the published information, the car has a 5-seat interior with dimensions of length x width x height of 4,265 x 1,785 x 1,600 mm and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.

Thus, Wuling Bingo S is longer, wider, taller and retains the same wheelbase as Bingo Plus. The corresponding figures of Wuling Bingo Plus include 4,090 x 1,720 x 1,575 mm. The vehicle's unladen weight is 1,325 kg.

Wuling Bingo S will use a TZ180XS275 electric motor with a maximum capacity of 75 kW (about 101 horsepower), combined with a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack. The maximum speed is 150 km/h. Currently, information about battery capacity and travel range has not been disclosed.

In 2024, the Wuling Bingo series sold 236,574 units in the Chinese market, up 41% year-on-year. Last month alone, it sold 17,891 units.

Upon launch, the Wuling Bingo S will compete directly with models such as the Geely Geome Xingyuan and BYD Dolphin. Notably, the Geely Geome Xingyuan was the best-selling car in China in the first five months of 2025.

Currently, Wuling Bingo is also being officially distributed in Vietnam with 4 versions and prices ranging from 349 - 569 million VND. It is very likely that in the future, Bingo S will also be sold in the Vietnamese market.
