(HGO) - On the morning of March 1st, the Provincial Military Command held the 2024 training commencement ceremony. Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Ms. Ma Thi Tuoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; along with leaders from departments, agencies, and localities attended the ceremony.

Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony.

Here, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command implemented the 2024 training and combat order of the Commander of Military Region 9, with the following basic tasks: Continuing to thoroughly understand and organize training according to the motto "Basic - Practical - Solid," 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, and 6 combinations; emphasizing comprehensive and in-depth training, focusing on practical application, proficiently using existing weapons and technical equipment, especially new and improved technical equipment. Organizing comprehensive training under all conditions, strengthening night training, mobility, camouflage, and deception closely aligned with the mission, target, area, environment, and combat plan; proactively adjusting the content of training programs and plans to suit practical conditions.

Simultaneously, actively apply information technology and digital transformation in troop training and management; innovate inspection methods at all levels to ensure effectiveness; and improve the quality of selection and training of high-performance sports teams. Training will be focused and targeted, ensuring high quality and effectiveness. Organize joint military exercises within the area and defense zone; conduct multi-level and multi-form exercises, including combat exercises. Closely integrate military training with political education, build a regular army, manage and maintain strict discipline. Focus on building strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" agencies and units.

Representatives from the emulation clusters signed an agreement to effectively implement the training emulation program in 2024.

In that spirit, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have determined the direction and tasks to continue building on the training results achieved in previous years; focusing on effectively implementing three breakthroughs: "Strengthening combat readiness; promoting the building of a regular army, improving discipline and physical fitness of officers and soldiers; and enhancing the leadership capacity of Party committees and branches." The training period for phase 1 is from March 1st to July 15th; and phase 2 is from August 1st to December 15th.

To ensure high training results in 2024, Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies, units, and localities thoroughly understand the direction, tasks, objectives, and requirements of training and combat in 2024. They should direct the effective preparation of facilities, training models, equipment, training grounds, and lesson plans. Party committees and commanders must pay close attention to the close integration of training with development, constantly innovating and improving the quality of training, organizational and command capabilities, so that the responsibilities of commanders are perfected and enhanced.

The relevant units and localities need to... Strengthen inspection work, maintain regular discipline in training, link training with troop discipline, manage and strictly enforce military discipline and state laws, improve the quality of building regular discipline, build strong and comprehensive "exemplary" agencies and units; enhance the mobility and rapid deployment capability of forces and units, especially those performing combat readiness duties. Local Party committees and authorities should regularly pay attention to, monitor, lead, and closely direct the work of ensuring all aspects, and take good care of the material and spiritual lives of the forces so that training in their localities achieves the highest results.
