Launching propaganda and mobilizing people to participate in social insurance and health insurance

On May 13, the provincial Social Insurance (SI) in coordination with collection service organizations organized a campaign to propagate and mobilize workers and people to participate in social insurance and health insurance (HI). The campaign was carried out throughout the province in the form of mobile parades on the streets and focused on organizing small groups to directly propagate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

The collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and employees of the provincial Social Insurance showed their determination on the launching day.

Currently, the whole province has over 34% of the working-age population participating in social insurance, nearly 94% of the population participating in health insurance. Thus, from now until the end of the year, Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance needs to develop more than 10% of the working-age population to participate in social insurance and nearly 0.2% of the population to participate in health insurance. With the peak propaganda activities, the Provincial Social Insurance sets a goal that during and immediately after the launching ceremony, the whole province will exploit and develop at least 530 people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance, contributing to the completion of the plan to develop social insurance and health insurance participants in 2025. Thereby helping people and workers clearly understand the rights and benefits of participating in social insurance, creating a widespread influence for people to proactively participate in social insurance.
