Rafaelson "overshadows" Hanoi FC's double award

Hanoi FC received the title of “Best Club of May” and Coach Daiki Iwamasa was honored as “Best Coach of May” in V-League 2023/2024. This double award came to the Capital team after a leap up the rankings with a series of 3 consecutive wins.

Before round 22 of V-League, coach Daiki Iwamasa and his team are ranked 3rd with 33 points, 1 point behind second-placed Binh Dinh and 9 points behind top-placed Nam Dinh . More importantly, Hanoi FC is shaping its own playing style with the Japanese coach.

Meanwhile, Rafaelson received 2 awards for “Best Player of May” in V-League. Rafaelson has just set a record for the most goals scored in a V-League season with 26 goals for Nam Dinh, surpassing the 25-goal mark set by Le Huynh Duc with CA TP.HCM Club in 1996.

In round 21 of V-League, Rafaelson scored 5 goals to help Nam Dinh come back to defeat Thanh Hoa 5-2. In which, his super goal in the 43rd minute was voted as "The most beautiful goal of May".

According to the plan, Hanoi FC and coach Daiki Iwamasa will receive the award before welcoming Khanh Hoa and Rafaelson will receive the award when Nam Dinh meets SLNA in the match series on May 31.
