On the morning of September 6 (Full Moon of the 7th lunar month), in Tu Thuong village, Nam Xe commune, the 2025 July New Year Festival of the Green Mong people took place.

According to the spiritual beliefs of the Green Mong people, the 7th lunar month is one of the most important events. On this day, people wear colorful traditional costumes and respectfully offer their ancestors offerings including sticky rice, chicken, cakes, wine, fruits, etc., praying for the best things to come to the community.
