Specifically, the number of ships entering and leaving Hai Phong seaport area in October was 1,434; the total number of ships entering and leaving in 10 months was 14,107; maritime traffic safety and order were maintained stably.

Hai Phong Maritime Port Authority said that in November and December 2024, it will strengthen management and effectively exploit the Hai Phong Channel VTS Maritime System to guide, regulate, inspect, and monitor ships and boats entering and leaving the port to ensure safety.

At the same time, coordinate with relevant management agencies to synchronously deploy solutions to maintain order and discipline, ensure maritime safety and security and prevent environmental pollution in the Hai Phong seaport area, especially at construction sites of maritime works, dredging channels, ships carrying gasoline, oil, chemicals, liquefied gas, etc.; Develop documents guiding administrative procedures to put berths 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Lach Huyen Wharf Area into official operation.

Hai Phong Maritime Port Authority said that by 2024, it strives to achieve 107 million tons of cargo through the seaport area; 16,950 ships and boats passing through; 170 billion VND in port fees; 13.5 billion VND in port entry and exit fees; 472 billion VND in maritime security fees; and a reduction in maritime accidents in all three criteria.
