Returning from the final match of Road to Olympia 2025, champion Tran Bui Bao Khanh was warmly welcomed by friends and teachers of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

On the morning of October 27, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted held a ceremony to welcome and meet the champion of the Road to Olympia 2025, Tran Bui Bao Khanh. Returning to school after the competition, in front of the joyful welcome of teachers and friends, Bao Khanh continuously expressed his gratitude mixed with emotion.

The champion of the Road to Olympia said that during the competition, there were times when he was very nervous and nervous. But when he saw the fans, even though he couldn’t hear them, he still felt very warm, as if he had been given more strength to conquer the “Olympia peak”. “I am grateful to everyone for giving so much love and practicing so hard for the televised competition”, Khanh said.

The new champion of Road to Olympia said that to prepare for this competition requires many factors. But there is one important thing Bao Khanh wants to share with the juniors: this program takes a lot of questions from textbooks.

“When reviewing for this contest, I had to reread textbooks from grade 8 to grade 12, read all 3 sets of books. For example, in the final match, there was an image of a nuclear power plant. This image was not taken from somewhere else but from the textbook. Therefore, you should read the textbooks carefully, study carefully in class if you have the intention of participating in Olympia,” Khanh sent a message to students who intend to participate in Olympia.

For Bao Khanh, when pursuing anything, the most important thing is to have a dream, make an effort, love what you are doing and believe in yourself. When you are happy with that journey, that is when you have won, not need to reach the final peak. And no matter what you achieve, you will be very happy because the journey is complete.

“I always keep in mind: Conquering peaks is not for the world to see you, but for you to admire the whole world. In life, there will be many Olympia peaks. When we conquer one Olympia peak, another Olympia peak will appear. Our job is to set goals, nurture passion and conquer those peaks.”

Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, assessed Bao Khanh as a special student. Although studying natural sciences and specializing in Biology, he is very passionate about Information Technology. In addition, Bao Khanh also likes reading literary works and loves going to museums.

Having had the opportunity to go with Bao Khanh to Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ms. Duong was surprised to see that Khanh really loved history. This principal believes that this is an example that students should learn from. "Khanh does not study for exams. Exam pressure is only a part of Bao Khanh. He is truly passionate, likes to explore, discover, and learn about everything around him." This principal evaluates that Bao Khanh's achievements are a clear demonstration of the mettle and intelligence of Ams students.

On October 26, Tran Bui Bao Khanh won the Road to Olympia contest after a dramatic final match, with only a 5-10 point difference from the second and third place contestants. Thus, after 25 years and 6 times in the finals, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has its second representative to win the Road to Olympia. Before Bao Khanh, in 2010, Phan Minh Duc became the champion. Bao Khanh said that this is a meaningful gift he wants to give to the school on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.

With this victory, the male student will be awarded a prize worth 50,000 USD (about 1.3 billion VND) if he studies abroad. However, Bao Khanh said he has not decided whether to study in the country or abroad.
