From 8am, four contestants were present at the studio, testing the equipment and placing souvenirs and lucky items on the competition stage.

According to the order of drawing, Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue) will compete in first place. Next will be Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa), Tran Bui Bao Khanh ( Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted) and Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap).

The final match begins

In the Warm-up round, Le Quang Duy Khoa took first place. The male student won 40 points in a package of 6 questions for each contestant.

Doan Thanh Tung entered the competition right after that and won 30 points.

Bao Khanh answered 5/6 questions and got 50 points.

Nhut Lam finished each contestant's individual round with 40 points.

In the general questions of the exam, the candidates showed equal strength when they continuously took turns answering.

At the end of the Warm-up round, Bao Khanh temporarily took the lead in the climbing group with 65 points. However, the match promised to be tense and dramatic as the following contestants had very close scores. At this time, the person in second place, Duy Khoa, was only 5 points behind Bao Khanh; Nhut Lam had 35 points and Thanh Tung had 30 points.

In the Obstacle Course round, all four contestants gave the correct answer to the first horizontal line of clues and each received an additional 10 points.

In the second suggested horizontal question, only Thanh Tung answered correctly and got an additional 10 points. Not stopping there, right after this correct answer, Thanh Tung pressed the bell to signal to answer the Obstacle. The answer that the male student Khanh Hoa gave was "Truong Ba's soul, butcher's skin" which helped him get an additional 50 points, bringing the total score to 100. Thereby, at the end of this round, Thanh Tung temporarily rose to the top of the mountain climbing group. At this time, Bao Khanh had 75 points, Duy Khoa had 70 points and Nhut Lam had 45 points.

Before the program's answer was given, the MCs also asked Thanh Tung about his decision. The Khanh Hoa male student shared: "I only have one chance to stand on the stage of the Olympia finals and that is my decision."

Acceleration Round

In the first question, 3 candidates gave the correct answer: Bao Khanh, Nhut Lam, Thanh Tung and won 40, 30, 20 points respectively.

In the second question, all four contestants gave correct answers. Bao Khanh continued to answer the fastest and got an additional 40 points. Nhut Lam, Thanh Tung and Duy Khoa got an additional 30, 20 and 10 points respectively.

In the third question, all four contestants continued to give the correct answer. Duy Khoa answered this question the fastest and got an additional 40 points; Thanh Tung, Bao Khanh and Nhut Lam answered later and got an additional 30, 20 and 10 points respectively.

In the final acceleration question, Thanh Tung, Duy Khoa, Nhut Lam and Bao Khanh all answered correctly and got 40, 30, 20 and 10 points respectively.

At the end of this competition, Thanh Tung continued to lead the climbing team with 210 points. Following him were Bao Khanh with 185 points, Duy Khoa with 150 points and Nhut Lam with 135 points.

In the Finish Line competition, Thanh Tung was the first to enter the competition. The Khanh Hoa male student shared: "I am a person who smiles a lot but also gets emotional easily."

Thanh Tung chose the 20-20-20 question package. In the first question, Thanh Tung could not give an answer and was overtaken by Nhut Lam. However, Nhut Lam could not give the correct answer either. After this question, Nhut Lam was deducted 10 points, leaving him with 125 points.

In the second question, Thanh Tung gave an incorrect answer. Duy Khoa had the right to answer, but it was also not the correct answer. After this question, Thanh Tung kept his score, while Duy Khoa was deducted 10 points, leaving him with 140 points.

In the third question of his turn, Thanh Tung continued to fail to give the correct answer. But the scenario was similar, Bao Khanh won the right to answer with an incorrect answer and was deducted 10 points, leaving 175 points. Thus, at the end of his turn, Thanh Tung kept his score, while each player lost 10 points.

Bao Khanh entered the second round and chose the 20-30-20 question package. In the first question, Bao Khanh gave a very decisive and accurate answer, gaining 20 more points, raising his score to 195. In the second question, the male student from Hanoi showed his excellence when he continued to give the correct answer, gaining 30 more points, raising his score to 225 and temporarily taking the lead in the mountain climbing group at this time. Bao Khanh had a perfect Finishing round when he answered correctly in the third question, gaining 20 more points and raising his score to 245.

Duy Khoa was the contestant who entered the third round and chose the 20-30-30 question package. In the first question, Duy Khoa could not give the correct answer, Nhut Lam took the right to answer and gave the correct answer. After this question, Nhut Lam got 20 more points, bringing his score to 145; while Duy Khoa got 20 points deducted, leaving him with 120.

In the second question, Duy Khoa continued to be unsuccessful with his answer. However, Bao Khanh had the right to answer but also did not give the correct answer. After this question, Duy Khoa still kept his score while Bao Khanh was deducted 15 points, leaving him with 230 points.

In the third question, Duy Khoa decided to choose the star of hope. And with the correct answer, the Hue male student got an additional 60 points, raising his score to 180 points.

At this point, Nhut Lam's final round became more important than ever. Because before this round, the contestant with the highest temporary score was Bao Khanh with 230 points, but the person in second place was Thanh Tung with 210 points. Duy Khoa had 180 points and Nhut Lam had 145 points.

In his turn, Nhut Lam chose the 30-30-30 question package. In the first question, Nhut Lam did not give the correct answer but no contestant had the right to answer.

In the second question in English, Nhut Lam chose the star of hope and gave the correct answer. Winning an additional 60 points, Nhut Lam suddenly accelerated to raise his score to 205 points. At this time, he was only 25 points behind the temporarily leading candidate, Bao Khanh, and exactly 5 points behind the second-placed candidate.

However, in the third question, Nhut Lam did not give the correct answer, Bao Khanh had the right to answer. Although he did not give the correct answer, the deduction of 15 points was still enough for Bao Khanh to have the highest score in the end with 215 points, thereby winning the championship of the 25th Road to Olympia. Thanh Tung finished in second place, only 5 points behind the leader. Nhut Lam won 205 points, Duy Khoa 180 points.

The first ticket to the final round of the Road to Olympia 2025 belongs to Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue), who finished first in the first quarter with 160 points. This is the 8th time Hue has had a contestant participate in the final round of the Road to Olympia.

This is also the school with the most contestants entering the first-year finals up to now, including 3 year-end final champions (Ho Ngoc Han in 2009, Ho Dac Thanh Chuong in 2016 and Vo Quang Phu Duc in 2024). Thus, if Duy Khoa wins the year-end final, Hue will surpass Quang Ninh to become the locality with the most Olympia champions in the country with 4 contestants.

Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap Province) is the contestant who won the second ticket to the final round of the 25th Road to Olympia after winning the second quarter competition with 290 points. This is also the first time Cai Be High School (formerly Tien Giang Province, now Dong Thap Province) has had a televised final round of the Road to Olympia. After the merger of provinces and cities, if Nhut Lam wins, Dong Thap will have its first Road to Olympia champion.

Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) is the winner of the third quarter competition with 255 points. If Thanh Tung wins the 25th year final, Khanh Hoa will have its first champion of the Road to Olympia.

The last person to win a ticket to the year's final was Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi) after winning the fourth quarter competition with a total score of 270. Hanoi has the opportunity to become a locality with 2 Olympia champions if Tran Bui Bao Khanh wins the year's final.

The winner of the year’s final will receive a laurel wreath, a trophy, a prize of $50,000 and the opportunity to study abroad. The second and third place winners will receive prizes of VND200 million and VND100 million, respectively.

In addition to the two MCs Khanh Vy and Ngoc Huy hosting at Studio S14 of Vietnam Television, the four MCs who will host at the finals of the 25th Road to Olympia include: Duc Bao (in Hue); Huyen Trang Mu Tat (in Hanoi); Cong To (in Khanh Hoa); Phi Linh (in Dong Thap).
