Prepare online learning plan if storms become complicated

GD&TĐ - Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh and above are ready with online learning plans, temporarily postponing school schedules during complicated stormy days.

On September 8, the Minister of Education and Training sent an official dispatch to the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh and above on proactively responding to storm No. 7.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on September 8, 2025, the center of Storm No. 7 was in the northwest sea of ​​the North East Sea, with the strongest wind speed of 117 km/h, level 10-11, gusting to level 13; it made landfall in Guangdong province (China) at 4:00 p.m.

It is forecasted that from the afternoon and night of September 9 to September 11, the circulation of Storm No. 7 will affect our country, causing heavy rains over a wide area in the North. In particular, the mountainous areas in the North are at a very high risk of flash floods, landslides and localized flooding.

To proactively respond to floods, the Minister of Education and Training requested the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh and above to seriously develop plans to ensure safety for staff, teachers and students; prepare online learning plans, and postpone school schedules during days of complicated storms and floods.

Review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides or flooding, to move assets, machinery, equipment, desks, chairs, and records to a safe place. Quickly repair damage; clean and sanitize schools/classrooms immediately after floods to ensure safety, cleanliness, and disease prevention.

The Departments of Education and Training mentioned in the Official Dispatch need to continuously update information, summarize damages, report to the Provincial People's Committee for remediation, and at the same time report to the Ministry of Education and Training to summarize and report to the Government .
