51-year-old man was hit by a truck while crossing the street carelessly

At about 11:30 a.m. on February 14, 2025, Mr. HVS, born in 1999 in Yen Trung commune, Yen Dinh district ( Thanh Hoa ), drove a 36C-506.50 truck on National Highway 38B, in the direction of Gia Loc - Thanh Mien. When reaching the Tram Bong intersection at km 10 of National Highway 38B in Quang Duc commune, he collided with a motorbike 34B2 - 153.88 driven by Mr. D.VH, born in 1974 in Don Thu village, Nhat Quang commune (same district as Gia Loc) traveling in the same direction in front, turning onto the road.

The accident caused Mr. H. to suffer a traumatic brain injury, with a poor prognosis. He was taken to Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment.

The initial preliminary cause was that Mr. H. changed direction in an incorrect manner, causing a traffic accident, and Mr. S. was not paying attention.

Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
