A special journey of Ha Tinh youth is about to take place

The journey "Ha Tinh Youth with the sea and islands of the homeland" in 2024, organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in coordination with the Provincial Military Command, is expected to take place at the end of January 2024 on Son Duong island.

Responding to the Campaign "Sentimentality of borders and islands" and the Campaign "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers" of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to organize the Journey "Ha Tinh Youth with the homeland's sea and islands" in 2024.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung and the provincial delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to officers and soldiers on Son Duong Island in January 2023.

The program is expected to take place for 1 day at the end of January 2024 on Son Duong island, Ky Loi commune (Ky Anh town).

It is expected that about 100 delegates will participate in the journey. Along with the provincial leaders, the journey will have the participation of nearly 70 delegates who are key union officials of the whole province, outstanding union officials, members, and youth in various fields...

During the journey, the following activities are expected to take place: propaganda about national sovereignty , seas, islands and the responsibility of youth in the task of building and protecting the Fatherland; exchange and visit, encourage officers and soldiers performing tasks on the island; inaugurate and hand over youth works of Ha Tinh youth on Son Duong island...

This is the first time Ha Tinh youth has organized a special journey to Son Duong island with the participation of delegates who are union members and outstanding youth.

The activity aims to propagate, educate and raise awareness among union members and youth about the importance of seas and islands in socio-economic development, thereby promoting the spirit and responsibility of youth in protecting the sovereignty of the borders and islands of the Fatherland. At the same time, creating conditions for cadres, union members and youth to strengthen solidarity, exchange and bond with cadres and soldiers; thereby contributing to motivating and encouraging the spirit of cadres and soldiers on duty to protect the sacred territorial sovereignty and sea of the Fatherland.

This is also a provincial-level response activity during the peak week "Ha Tinh Youth is proud of the country" taking place from January 22 to 30, 2024.
