On May 3, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi, in coordination with the Russian Embassy in Vietnam, plans to organize the program "Immortal Legion" to express respect and honor to the heroes - veterans and martyrs who sacrificed for national freedom and peace.
The program is held to celebrate the Liberation Day of South Vietnam and National Reunification Day on April 30; Dien Bien Phu Victory Day on May 7 and Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War on May 9.

The event is expected to include Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Prof. Bezdetko; Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam Uladzimir Baravikou, Head of the Russian Federal Cooperation Agency in Vietnam VV Murashkin, along with diplomats from the Russian Federation, CIS countries, representatives of Vietnamese ministries and departments - close partners of the Russian Embassy, the Russian Center for Science and Culture, Vietnamese veterans and their relatives, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnamese students, etc.
According to the Organizing Committee, this event is also an opportunity to pay tribute, express gratitude and respect to the heroic martyrs of Vietnam and Russia who fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, peace of the nation and the world; at the same time, educate the younger generation about patriotism, pride and love for compatriots.
The program is expected to be held at the Vietnam Youth Academy (No. 3-5 Chua Lang, Hanoi) including activities: Tree planting ceremony and Georgi ribbon distribution (Victory ribbon) for program attendees; Memorial ceremony, gratitude to martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland; Music program "Victory song", Trade kitchen...
