About to build a nearly 19km road with a capital of 1,267 billion through 2 districts of Hanoi

In the 2023-2025 period, Hanoi will build a nearly 19km long road with a capital of VND1,267 billion through two southern districts of the city.

The investment project to build the eastern service road of Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, the section passing through Thuong Tin and Phu Xuyen districts, was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in August 2023. The project is nearly 19km long, the starting point of the route is Km2 + 441.00 at the intersection with Provincial Road 427 in Van Tao commune (Thuong Tin district). The end point of the route is at Km21 + 410.80 at the beginning of the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway underpass to the residential service road of Dai Xuyen intersection and the connecting section to Dai Xuyen intersection (Phu Xuyen). There is an overpass through the expressway with 3 branches of the route about 2.2km long. The project has a total investment capital of 1,267 billion VND, of which the cost of compensation, site clearance support, and resettlement is nearly 396 billion VND, the construction cost is more than 778 billion VND, and other costs. The project implementation period is in the period of 2023-2025. To implement the project, it will be necessary to recover more than 425,000m2 of land of all kinds, of which 192,333m2 is in Thuong Tin district (passing through 9 communes) and 6 communes of Phu Xuyen district with 233,564m2 of land. According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the eastern service road project of Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, when completed, will meet the travel needs of the people, synchronously connecting the traffic system in the area with Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway. From there, serving the development of industrial zones, clusters and points in accordance with the socio -economic development orientation of the locality and in accordance with the general planning of Thuong Tin district, Phu Xuyen district, the general planning of Phu Xuyen satellite urban area... The project, when completed, will also contribute to completing the traffic system according to the planning, creating a traffic route with complete technical infrastructure; reduce traffic congestion and create urban beauty for Phu Xuyen and Thuong Tin districts. According to Lao Dong's research, the Phu Xuyen District Construction Investment Project Management Board is implementing a plan to select a contractor to implement the Eastern service road construction investment project of Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway.
