In Arooi village, landslides swept away many properties of Mr. Briu Me and Mr. Briu Mo's families; there is a high risk of affecting the main house of both households due to weak ground and steep slope.

On the night and morning of September 5, the People's Committee of Hung Son commune mobilized forces to support the movement of assets of 2 households to a safe place, and at the same time encouraged and provided temporary food to the households.

For route DH4, heavy rain caused the weak negative slope to collapse, completely breaking the road surface.
The incident caused the foundations of two houses on the slope to crack, posing a risk of landslides. Authorities have set up barricades, advised people to limit their movement, and urged high-risk households to evacuate immediately.
The leader of Hung Son Commune People's Committee said that he had reported and proposed to the People's Committee of Da Nang City and relevant departments and branches to soon support funding to build a solid embankment on the negative slope at the village level, to avoid further landslides in order to stabilize people's lives in the long term and to invest in stone gabion embankment at the foot of the negative slope of DH4 road, ensuring traffic safety for people.
